Account Manager (Sales Representative)

 

At Sharp Insurance, our lead generation is like no other and we are looking for Account Managers who strive to close the sale! Our Sales team are a group of high-performers and self-motivators who take pride in taking care of our clients and winning the deals.

 

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Provide insurance quotes, prompt service and exceptional customer service to our clients primarily over the phone, e-mail and some walk-ins.
  • Ensure consistent communication and follow up with clients.
  • Identify sales opportunities to cross-sell and upsell products
  • Build strong relationships and liaise with various insurance companies.
  • Work within multiple software systems and portals to input data, collect information and update statuses.
  • Keep abreast all the latest industry policies, changes and best practices in insurance.

 

LOCATION AND STATUS

  • Calgary, AB
  • Full-time
  • Weekend work required

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Alberta Level 1 General Insurance License
  • 1 to 2 years of related experience in the insurance industry
  • A strong working knowledge of personal lines products;
  • Post-secondary degree/certificate/diploma in commerce, marketing, business or related discipline is considered an asset
  • Call-center experience would be considered an asset
  • Ability to work between Monday – Friday from 8:30am – 6:00pm and Saturdays from 10:00am – 5:00pm
